I am an artist and a serial entrepreneur with over two decades of experience. In 1999, I started Webchutney, India’s leading digital agency, as its co-founder and Chief Creative Officer. Ranked as India’s #1 digital agency for eight years by the Economic Times & Brand Equity, Webchutney today employs over 250 professionals across Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. Some of our clients include companies like Flipkart, Airtel, Tata Sons, Uber, WeWork, Google Pay and Swiggy among others. Under my leadership, it was the most awarded Indian agency at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in 2019.

In 2013, Webchutney was acquired by Dentsu Aegis Network, one of the largest global agency networks which led to one of the biggest investor and shareholder exits in the Indian advertising industry.

I have served as jury at some of the most celebrated advertising festivals in India and around the globe. I am also an active angel investor and advisor to startups looking at building scale in India.

An alumnus of the College of Art in New Delhi (Painting 1993), most of my work evolves as an intuitive reaction to surroundings, be it interior space, inner space, or life experiences. In my work, I use mix medium with great sensitivity to these evolving colours and forms, which helps me create my own unique abstract language. Focusing on particular shapes or compositions and their movements for long periods of time has led to a series of closely related paintings, which is what I'm currently working on. These paintings are an ongoing process of addition and subtraction until everything on the canvas co-exists with a depth and intensity that strikes a good balance.
